About the Forum

A group of young individuals will be engaging with the Prime Minister and the Cabinet on matters of national importance related to Malta’s present and future vision.

The Forum, consisting of nine young people, is chosen after a call for applications, and serves for a term of eighteen months. One of the members will be nominated by the National Youth Council.

The Forum provides a platform for young people aged between 16 and 35 years to voice their opinions on issues which do not necessarily affect young people directly but are related to the country’s development and the welfare of its citizens.

They will have the opportunity to give advice to the Government on laws, strategies and plans being discussed at national or international level.
The Prime Minister is the Chairperson of the Forum.
